The short version
This site does not run a server-side database, does not use analytics or advertising cookies, and does not have a login or account system. The only thing stored locally in your browser is your light/dark theme preference, which never leaves your device. If you contact us, we only use what you send to reply to you.
What we collect
We don’t collect personal data through this website by default. There are no sign-up forms, no visitor tracking scripts, and no third-party advertising pixels embedded on any page.
Local storage (theme preference)
The light/dark mode toggle saves your choice using your browser’s localStorage. This value stays on your device — it is never sent to us or to any third party, and we have no way to read it.
If you contact us
The “Get a Quote” and “Request early access” links and forms on this site open your own email client with a pre-filled message addressed to hello@grotak.com. The message is sent directly from your email account to ours — it does not pass through or get stored on any Grotak server or database. Whatever you include (name, email, project details) is used only to respond to your inquiry, and we don’t share it with third parties or use it for marketing without your separate consent.
Hosting
This site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel’s infrastructure processes standard technical request data (such as IP address and request timing) to serve pages and keep the service running — this is routine web-hosting operation, not something Grotak collects or has separate access to. See Vercel’s privacy policy for details on their infrastructure-level handling.
Actual client work
This policy covers this marketing website only. If you become a client, any data handling for your project (analytics access, ad accounts, credentials, etc.) is governed by the separate agreement for that engagement — consistent with our stated commitment that client data is never shared, sold, or reused across other work.
